* Must have design experience within the construction industry, ideally dealing with timber frame / timber structures / timber construction
* Must have experience working with Rhino3D and Grasshopper
* Ideally will have other software experience such as: Revit, AutoCAD, CS Suite etc
* Would be a suitable role for a Timber Designer, Draughtsperson, Architectural Technician or Architectural Technologist
* Must be comfortable working remotely
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Excellent communicator written and verbally
* Computer literate (Microsoft Office)

The role of the Designer – Timber Structures will involve:
* Designer position dealing with a range of timber frame projects for main contractors and house builders
* Prepare 3D design drawings for timber structures, connections and interface details
* Producing 2D drawings for each project stage including: arrangement drawings, detail drawings and fabrication drawings
* Ensure that all designs meet the client requirements so that offsite manufacturing can take place
* Liaise regularly with architects, engineers, and contractors providing excellent customer service
* Work closely with internal departments providing support and resolving queries
* Ensure designs meet quality standards, building regulations, and H&S requirements
* Working on projects varying in value from £250,000 to circa £2m
