Overview

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the implementation of companywide document control standardisation process
Manage 2D/3D modelling resource, including freelance resources where required
* Lead BIM delivery on acquisitions (including but not limited to)
* Analysis ITT documentation, determining EIR and other BIM/CAD related requirements
* Production of Pre-Contract BEP’s
* Production of ITT responses
* Production of Visualisations

Level of formal qualifications required:

Professional qualification BRE BIM Level 2 Certificated Practitioner, or similar
Level and range of work experience required:
Must have experience operating in a dedicated BIM role (>2 years)

The ROLE
An exciting opportunity to build your career within our team based in the East Midlands for this well established consultancy, the successful Structural Engineer Candidate will be required to simultaneously work on an eclectic mix of projects in a variety of arenas to;
*Provide engineering design and consultancy services to a wide range of projects, mainly residential and commercial builds
*Ensure that sufficient and full information is available on all projects
*Carry out site visits
*Provide advice and guidance on builds and projects
*Report writing
*Design utilising a variety of materials including steel, concrete and masonary
The CANDIDATE
Our client is looking for an ambitious candidate possessing the desire to further develop their career within a Civil/Structural Engineering practice. The right person will have the following experience:
*Strong academic background within a relevant discipline
*Some relevant industry experience
*The desire to develop a career - you will have achieved or be working towards Chartered status
*Good knowledge of current building standards, analysis and codes of practice
*Enthusiastic and self-motivated
*Professional telephone manner with good interpersonal and communication skills.
