Civils Engineer (Utilities) - Outside IR35 We are a multi-disciplined contractor with a service portfolio that covers track, trades, civils, OLE, signalling and telecoms along with trackside lighting and safety barrier fencing. In this respect we are a forward-thinking business that has the ability to undertake large scale contract works delivering a variety of services such as structures, track drainage, earthworks and lineside infrastructure works under one umbrella. We have established a network of offices across the whole of the UK where we pro-actively recruit from within the local community to fully support our clients on a National Basis. This is a fantastic long term opertunity in central birmingham - the positon will come with a 3 month trial period Applicant must have lots of office experience with; * Permit form * Lift plans * designs * Task briefs * Health and safety packs OTHER * Experience in utilities / civil engineering works * A good communicator and able to build positive working relationships, internally and with the utilities companies. * Ability to coordinate and manage own workload supporting project delivery * Resilient, positive & confident character * IT skills - MS Office suite * Possession of good organizational and communication skills * Able to work under own initiative and to seek advice when necessary, you will have the drive and determination to meet targets
