Initial three-month contract opportunity for a surveyor / inspector to join a local charity in East Devon Your new company Joining as a property specialist, you will work for an international charity who own, manage and maintain a number of operational properties based in the East Devon and Devon region. Your new employer are devoted to the wellbeing of both humans and animals, and boast an annual income and expenditure of over £40m. Your new role Our client is seeking a property inspection professional with a mechanical or electrical background to join their property team, for an initial three months in a contract which could be extended beyond this point. You will be tasked with preparing an asset register of building components. This will involve undertaking inspections of all buildings before registering lights, light switches, sockets and other components. You will make each component with specialist stickers, as well as log details into a system / database. What you'll need to succeed This could be an excellent role for you if you have a background in mechanical or electrical trades or engineer - you might have been an electrician or plumber by trade and now looking to move into a property inspection or facilities role. Alternatively, you might have undertaken either stock condition surveys or asset surveys in the past. Living locally to the buildings in East Devon will be important, as well as the ability to drive.
