Multi-Skilled Working Foreman- modular build construction projects Midlands based / nationwide projects Start ASAP Permanent Circa £30,000 - £33,000 (or daily rate equivalent) + van + accommodation / travel paid This 13 year old, expanding, family run Design & Build Company, works in modular construction projects, with 90% of their work being education based. Projects: Typical projects range from £200k - £750k, on jobs from 6-8 weeks. Generally, production takes place for 6 weeks in the factory before arriving on site. They do quite a lot of Timber framed or SIPs panel build. The position: The company is looking for a dynamic Multi-Skilled Working Foreman man in a van or Magic man type of person, to cover a number of their projects. Generally their projects would have a visiting site manager, however they do also require an experienced Multi-Skilled Working Foreman who can / is: ·Take charge of snagging and maintenance cross the board. ·Liaise with clients to get snagging rectified, manage snags and defaults in the buildings. ·From a trade background - do it themselves type of person ·Windows, mastic, filing down doors etc. ·Managing deliveries, ordering and collecting materials ·Ideally Midlands based and would be traveling to a number of sites (see below list) ·Wimbledon Qualifications: CSCS SSSTS - ideal but not essential Leicester - school The following phrase sums them up nicely: You are never too big to make the tea, and never too small to take on responsibility'. There is an essential need to be user-friendly and have excellent communication skills, with the majority of their work in the education sector, the candidate would need to be in possession of (or willing to carry out) an enhanced DBS check.
