Essential Qualifications/ experience required/ specific requirements for the role:
Construction/Building related HNC or higher qualification (Or equivalent)
Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal form.
Produce accurate commercial reports.
Ability to use a range of IT packages including Microsoft Office.
Good time management
Ability to make decisions within authority.
Able to read, understand and measure from Working Drawings.Where a range of rate of pay is quoted the level of experience, qualifications & related training required is the minimum required in order to qualify for the lowest rate of pay quoted

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the Head of Commercial who will outline each site to you. You will be responsible for:
Budget Forecasting
Pre & post tender
Monthly valuations
Undertake Material & Plant reconciliations weekly.
Administration of Drawing Revisions & Site Records.
Adhere to Management Plan.
Support the production of monthly CVR.
Understanding of cash management.
Form Relationships with Subcontractors.
Understand other site job functions.
Communication with Site Team.
Promote Company Image.
Ensure that the supply chain is paid in accordance with the contract.
Form relationship with the supply chainThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a proven track record of working on multiple projects in the housebuilding sector.
You must have a full driving licence, as travel will be required to sites occasionally.
The salary on offer is £45,000 - £50,000.
