Job Description

Design Manager for Education projects across the UK. Working for a main contractor who utilise modern methods of construction, you will be working a number of projects across the UK, predominantley based out of their North West office. The projects that they work on are typically new build primary and scchools up to £15 million in value. You will be responsible for all design management activities on projects from RIBA stage 2 through to construction delivery, you will work closely with the project team to develop the scheme proposals, and will be responsible for coordinating internal and external design teams. It is important to have a good understanding of 3D Design and BIM Technology. You will be preparing progress reports, and . Organising and chairing design co-ordination and design progress meetings with the design team and sub-contractors and ensuring that design risk assessments are produced. A degree qualification or equivalent and CIOB professional Membership would be ideal. Experience working with modern methods of construction would be beneficial.
