Job Description

Newfield Electrical Ltd are looking to recruit an additional Engineer to join our already established workforce. We are currently progressing with a new contract which covers the West Midlands and South West of the country, this is based within the housing sector and covers the installation of Lighting and Fire Alarm systems. We also work within a wide variety of Commercial and Industrial Environments. The work that we carry out may also include periods of working away from home to enable the works to progress, accommodation and nightly allowances are provided. The successful applicant would be required to have the following qualifications: * NVQ level 3 in Electrical Installation * AM2 * BS7671:2018 18th Edition of Electrical Wiring Regulations * City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) * CSCS Card The following qualifications would be helpful but not compulsory: * FIA – BS5839 Part 5 (Maintenance) * FIA – BS5839 Part 4 (Installation and Testing) Job Description: The successful applicant would be required to carry out a variety of Electrical Installation and Testing to various commercial and Industrial premises throughout the West Midlands and South West of the country as part of our expanding Installation Team. As part of the role a Van, Fuel Card and Mobile Phone are provided for the Engineers duties to be carried out as well as any specific test equipment that is required to satisfactorily complete the works. The role would require job specific training which would be provided to ensure that the applicant is fully aware of the working practices of the company. The applicant would be expected to be able to work alone if required to carry out the works, however due to the nature of the contracts that we currently have you would be part of a team. The proposed salary would be discussed at the interview stage and would be based upon previous experience and qualifications, with opportunity to increase based upon performance.
