The client are one of the UK's top 10 house builders with a fantastic reputation for building good quality houses across the UK.
They are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager to oversee 4/5 developments for them along the M23 Corridor. The sites in question vary from 50 units - 300 units, with a mixture of both timber frame and traditional build based in areas such as Crawley, Horley and Lingfield. Candidates must have at least 3 - 5 years experience working as a Contracts Manager for a house builder and must be based within an hour commutable distance of the sites.
As a Contract Manager you will be responsible for:
- Liaising closely with the Site Manager to make sure the day to day running of the project goes smoothly
- Involved in site staffing as well as contract planning, programming and costing
To be successful for this job, you will have Contracts Managing experience, ideally gained within a trade's capacity. You should have a degree in Construction Management but not essential.
