Experienced project Manager to work from site set up to completion on a new build ultra-modern housing development as part of an exciting new construction project in the uk over the next few years This project is awarded and about to go on site in the next few months and we are looking for an experienced project manager to lead this first of its kind project of over 150 units on site in this phase alone The project is a combination of for sale and local authority across the site but with a brand-new modular construction process for this sort of development We are specifically looking for someone with renowned developer experience on site from pre co to delivery but also a good level of exposure to the commercial market as this is not a profit at all costs operation but an idealistic, forward thinking company looking for the right project manager, one of the first of many hires through growth across the uk. Joining at initial site set up stage you will be working to ensure the logistics and procurement on the project run to plan as the team built by you deliver the project over the next 2 years. Applicants will have a good problem-solving mind be IT literate and able to manage both the long term and short-term programmes with the design, commercial engineering, and site teams You will be working with your team who will look to you for the management of the client and technical teams from subcontractors to make the decisions to steer the job on track for a timely delivery with minimum defects. Dealing with the master program and management of sub-contractors queries you will be the project lead for the duration of the project. Candidates must be able to manage and motive teams and the sub-contractors senior management team to be driven to deliver the job on time and to budget You will be able to lead meetings with your project team, your client and specialist subcontract teams to solve issues and keep the job moving Ideally Applicants must have at least 10 years' experience of major projects from start to finish as a number one project manager along with up to date CSCS, SMSTS and 1st aid.
