My client, a leading fit out contractor are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team due to a healthy pipeline of works. This role involves technical challenges including providing a high level of service through client facing and client focused practices for a variety of projects including Bars, Restaurants, Nightclubs and Theatres. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial support to the project team, maintaining commercial information and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and will manage the commercial resources of the assigned project to maximise cashflow.
Responsibilities include:
To maximise the commercial efficiency of the project whilst reducing the risk profile
Preparation of internal commercial reporting and any other reports which may be required measurement, valuation, and agreement of work sections
Preparation of tender enquires for subcontract works packages and analysis of tender returns
Preparation of Valuations/Application for payment with full supporting documentation in accordance with the contract
Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.
Ideally you will have a HNC or Degree in Quantity Surveying (or other equivalent qualification)
Must hold experience working in a similar role
Must have excellent communication skills across all levels of staff and management - both internal and external
Must be computer literate in Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook

Control, monitor and improve commercial processes by establishing objectives and targets for the Contract teams.
Preparing monthly CVR & VCA reports for presentation to the Business Unit Management.
Prepare monthly reports and present to Joint Venture Partners & Clients.
Monitoring risk and opportunity schedules and managing risk from Commencement to Completion.
