Quality Inspector
Newark
Rate: £14 - £17 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our client who operate across multiple sectors, delivering a comprehensive range of innovative off-site solutions.
Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance of all projects/products produced as part of the quality team.
Ensure compliance to the required standards of all products produced from the signing off of the products, to identifying and reporting all defects, non-conforming products or outstanding operations encountered to the relevant manager.
Focus on continually improving performance, products and services provided.
Promote the ethos of quality within all business activities (internal & external)
To ensure all products meet the required company quality standards and customer requirements.
Inform applicable parties immediately of any problems with product conformance that may affect delivery and/or customer acceptance of the productsTo work with minimum supervision to complete all aspects of the quality management of modular construction projects including, but no limited to, the following:
Maintain and develop systems to monitor product performance and identify improvement opportunities and support implementation of such improvements.
Ensure that all quality check procedures put in place by the company are adhered to and completed during every phase of the production process.
Ensure all products are inspected to drawing requirements and rectified to correct requirements with any/all issues being reported.
To ensure that all associated quality paperwork is produced, issued and effectively communicated for all products, defects, non-conforming materials and outstanding operations and completed to requirements.
Ensure fitting/installation is completed to the required standard as instructed by the Inspection Test Plan and or manufacturer's instructions.
To liaise with other departments to ensure the required quality standards are achieved.
Support both individually and as part of the team the effective delivery of the resources for the most cost effective delivery of the teams objectives and targets.
Ensure all finished products are Pre-Delivery inspected (PDI) and are signed off by quality as completed and accepted to the agreed standards.
Be involved in planning activities as and when required.
Provide regular feedback, reports in regards to project performance to the Factory & Senior Quality Manager, including attending monthly meetings.The Ideal Candidate:

Construction industry experience would be an advantage
Good time management and prioritisation skills
Driven and enthusiastic with a willingness to adapt and learn
Works well as an individual but also part of a wider team
Good communication skills
Computer literate
