Junior Mechanical Design Engineer / Graduate Building Services Design Engineer required for our client, a well-known contractor based in Gloucester. They are looking for the Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer that is either a Junior or Graduate level with an appreciation and working knowledge of what is expected when it comes to detailed design, calculation, sizing and specification of HVAC systems, specifically knowledge of air conditioning, chillers, air handling units and heat recovery would advantageous.
The role will be situated within the projects team, so the Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer will also assist with the preparation of technical quotations and site surveys as well as liaising with the client for progress meetings including some project management.
Any experience with AutoCAD as well as Cymap or Hevacomp would be advantageous. The role will be supported by a Senior Manager that will mentor the successful candidate.
The position would suit a Building Services Engineering Graduate, Mechanical Engineering Graduate, or someone that has just completed a HNC or HND in Building Services.
