Full time Construction Facilities Management Property

Job Description

WDP is a fast-growing vibrant and innovative drug and alcohol charity committed to helping those who are affected by substance misuse. For over 25 years we have provided support to individuals, their families and the wider communities from centres across London, the South East and East of England.

WDP believes that by having a strong delivery model, we are able to provide the best possible treatment, whilst advocating on behalf of our service users. We are dedicated to providing an infrastructure that is best able to support our service users in their recovery. To ensure this, we aim to innovate in both service delivery and back office functions.

The Role

The Property Manager will lead the premises and facilities team, providing high level of management across the portfolio of premises. You will provide leadership, line management and monthly supervision and provide clear direction of the standards that the Estate and Facilities Department requires.

WDP currently has a mixed portfolio of buildings primarily on leases, but some owed across London and the South-East.

The successful candidate will be required to make continuous improvements and innovative solutions to the Estates portfolio, through excellent customer service and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

You will be responsible for overseeing small to medium sized projects as well as premises acquisition and disposal including lease negotiations.

About You

To be considered, you should have previously worked in a similar role, managing facilities across a multisite environment. You must have experience of managing leases as well as dealing with disposals and acquisitions of buildings.

You should have a relevant H&S qualification (IBOSH or NEBOSH) and a relevant degree and/or working towards BIFM or RICS qualifications.

WDP are a dynamic and ambitious organisation; this is a great time to be joining them.
