The nuclear island houses the nuclear system that produces the steam (NSSS – Nuclear Steam Supply System) and safety systems.

The layout of nuclear powerplants comprises two major parts: The nuclear island and the conventional (turbine) island. The nuclear island is the heart of the nuclear powerplant. It is formed by containment building, auxiliary building, and fuel handling area. The layout of the nuclear island is specific for each nuclear powerplant design. The nuclear island houses the nuclear system that produces the steam (NSSS – Nuclear Steam Supply System) and safety systems.
NSSS consist of:
The reactor, containing the reactor core and the control systems.
The reactor coolant pumps (RCPs) ensure the circulation of the primary coolant.
The pressurizer (in the case of PWR) is used to control the pressure of the primary coolant.
The steam generators (in the case of PWR), where heat is exchanged between the primary circuit and the secondary circuit.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
SeniorCommercial Managers’ accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
• The day to day management of Commercial Managers and/or Assistants under

* Assistant Area Sales Manager position selling and support with a high quality comprehensive range of roofing, cladding, waterproofing, roofing membranes, green roofs, insulation and liquid waterproofing products
* Assisting Senior Area Sales Manager
* All of your time will be spent on site with your senior ASM dealing with architects, building surveyors, housing associations, local authorities, end users and stimulating demand with main and specialist sub-contractors
* Working with order values averaging at around £30k - £250k
* Developing knowledge of detailed report writing and specification drawings
* Supporting and helping conduct CPD seminars
* To plan and manage your time efficiently and effectively to ensure that you maximise productivity, whilst providing regular feedback on activity to your manager
* Developing and demonstrating technical competence and understanding via your reports, specifications and client interaction
* Regular update client records onto CRM company systems
* after 16-18 months will be promoted into a Senior ASM, with a significant pay increase
The ideal applicant will be a Junior Area Sales Manager – Roofing / Waterproofing Membranes experience with:
* Must have some construction sales experience (would consider someone with no sales experience with a related qualification / degree)
* Must have experience selling a technical related product such as roofing, cladding, waterproofing, roofing membranes, green roofs, insulation and liquid waterproofing products (not essential)
* Ideally contact base with building surveyors
* Ideally have a degree or relevant educational qualification
* Knowledge and experience of building practice and emerging trends
* Be able to work outside office hours
* Energy, dynamic and driven
* Strong communication and negotiation
* IT literate
