Our client has entered its next stage of growth and as a result, are now looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to join their dynamic team. This exciting role offers plenty of room for progression and earning opportunities and is typically suited to someone with face to face and telephone based sales experience, particularly in the industrial storage and handling equipment industry. Working both out in the field and home based, predominantly covering the South East area. You will be utilising your strong negotiation skills to win new business. My client is looking for a professional, self-motivated individual who can demonstrate inherent sales ability and have a winning, focused, target orientated mentality. Reporting to the Sales Director you will be: Generating leads, following up with strategic calls and securing appointments with clients Establishing commercially productive relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers Generating a strong sales pipeline, ensuring monthly KPIâs are achieved in your allocated sales territory Proving an outstanding service by delivering excellent customer care to new and existing customers Producing regular sales and pipeline activity feedback to discuss with senior management Assisting with other sales related tasks and projects within the business as required You will need to be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. In an extremely competitive market, people buy from people and you must possess the ability to establish and develop collaborative relationships with both existing and prospective customers. The Ideal candidate will have; Excellent communication, negotiation and time management skills and the ability to work under pressure Adaptable and confident when communicating with key decision makers Able to operate autonomously and also within a team to motivate yourself and others Strong organisational skills, able to prioritise, manage workloads and meet deadlines I.T literate, with experience operating company databases / CRM systems A minimum of 2 yearsâ experience within a field sales role The rewards: A competitive basic package £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
