Groundworks Contracts Manager (Midlands) Are you looking for an opportunity to work with one of the most respected and reputable contractors in the whole of the Midlands? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a rapidly growing team. A role that offers autonomy and a chance to run schemes in your own style. Duties & Responsibilities * Reporting directly to the construction director, an experienced groundwork's professional * Delivering multiple projects to programme, valued between £100k - £5m * Managing up to 8 projects at any one time, attending sites as and when required * Liaising internally with site managers and quantity surveyors for progress updates * Maintaining communication with the main client, developing new business and building upon existing relationships * Control of technical aspects on site, value engineering on all projects where possible * Management of foreman and engineers on site * Liaising with the company H&S manager to ensure site are safe and operating within H&S guidelines Types of work undertaken * Residential Groundwork's, * Commercial Groundwork's * Roads, 278 works, drainage and sewers Candidates must have previous experience of roads, sewers and drainage. Remuneration Salary - NEGOTIABLE (dependant on experience) Included in the package are company benefits, including car or car allowance.
