Previous experience within Electrical Engineering in mobile environment is essential for this role. Previous experience with office and school environments is required and it would be preferable but not essential if you have a DBS Enhanced Clearance. Role: Mobile Engineer
Responsible To: Contract Manager
Provide an engineering resource in response to a reactive call who will be willing and able to undertake any engineering repair tasks (within the job holder's competency).
Provide a pivotal link in communication with both client and management personnel regarding regular up-date of respective building services operational status and ongoing repair issues.
Providing contract support & supervision regarding the implementation of Planned Preventative Maintenance at the premises.
Ensure that the client's business critical plant & equipment operates within design parameters.
Ensure that the building services plant & equipment is operating safely, and within the system design parameters and to optimum efficiency.
Ensuring that the highest standards of service delivery, technical support and asset management are delivered to the client.
Supervise the access, safe working and conduct of company contractors when operating on site, undertaking the necessary
Specific responsibilities & accountabilities
1.Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all building plant, equipment and systems within the period issued.
2.To action fault finding and repairs to breakdown of any building services as and when required
3.Provide a work report upon completion of each maintenance task in order for others to update CAFM data-base with regard to maintaining complete asset work history, plant condition and components upon the apparatus that have been replaced.
4.Respond to the Building Management System (BMS) HVAC alarms or system abnormalities and effect adjustments where required within the building systems. Use of Building Management Systems for fault finding and further diagnostic evaluation of the buildings HVAC systems.
5.Respond to and effect emergency repairs, disaster recovery as and when required.
6.Undertake inspections of all critical plant to ensure that it is operating within design parameters and efficiently.
7.Ensure that the buildings compliant testing and inspections of the buildings various systems are undertaken as a priority this to include all building life safety systems and water hygiene requirements.
8.Ensure that the required numbers of spares are reported and available to carry out maintenance of the above plant.
9.Ensure that the required numbers of critical spares' are reported and available to carry out repairs on business critical plant.
10.Develop a good working relationship with all members of the company, its clients and staff.
11.Ensure the provision of a safe & healthy working environment, ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures, as well as client site policies, procedures and working arrangements, as required.
12.Ensure a professional image is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.
13.Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.
14.Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Company.
Technical competencies will be specific to the trade of the post holder- the following are indicative of expected minimum standards
1.A good general technical education is essential, with post holder holding a recognized trade discipline in example: City & Guilds ONC (Electrical) 17TH Edition accredited.
2.Up to date technical knowledge including all relevant ACOP's, fire and environmental control measures, building control requirements, and all aspects of the Health and Safety regulations in relation to building management.
3.Extensive building services experience in a similar post within a government or blue-chip service delivery sector.
4.Possesses excellent communication skills, is numerate and computer literate.
5.Experience and a sound knowledge of working with business critical plant & equipment including back-up generators, UPS and comms room A/C.

7.Experience of operating Evaporative Cooling Systems.
8.Experience of maintaining and fault finding to pump's, motors, mechanical drive mechanisms, valves and associated heating and ventilating systems where required.
9.Formal health and safety training.
10.Knowledge of working within a corporate, blue chip environment
