Job Role: Operations Manager
Area: London
Salary: £125,000-£135,000 pa DOE
My client is one the UK’s leading multi-discipline building, engineering and M&E specialists.
They work on a mix of commercial offices and hotels, education, health, residential and bespoke projects ranging from £2 million to £50 million.
They are looking for an experienced Operations Manager with a strong Mechanical and Electrical background to join their well established and growing team.
Must have previous experience as an Operations Manager within a M&E company and have Tier 1 Contractor Experience.
Duties:
Ensure a safe working environment for all staff within Head Office
Work with Directors & Supervisors to establish and implement mobilisation plan for all new projects
Assist the Supervisors with the development of project programmes
Ensure the correct resources are available to allow teams to deliver their projects on time, to specification and budget
Monitor labour, subcontractors, plant and materials
Manage and motivate Contracts Managers, Supervisors, Foreman, site staff and subcontractors
Ensure customer promises are delivered and relationships are developed
Promote the values of the company at all opportunities

Are you an experienced electrically qualified maintenance engineer? Are you looking for a static position within an established FM company? Do you have experience of supervising staff and sub contractors? This Could be the role for you.
An exciting opportunity to work for a National FM service provider has arisen in the the Weybridge area. The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and ideally supervising,As well as sound knowledge with HVAC and mechanical systems.
Package Includes:
Competitive salary up to £40k
33 days leave
Pension Scheme

Call out 1 in 3The Role Will Include
Over seeing and managing the engineers on site both direct and indirect subcontractors
Managing and over seeing all paperwork relating to the role eg log books, compliance Rams ect
Preplanned maintenance and compliance check including but not limited to - Lighting, Emergency light testing, Power distribution
Electrical fault-finding, breakdowns and repairs
Small Install works including new sockets, new lights, new circuits
Control Panel maintenance
Over seeing sub contractors on site including raising permits to work
Ensuring you follow all H&S policies and company procedures
Mechanical works including Water treatment,Legionella and temp checks
General building services including fabric worksThe Ideal Candidate Will Need
Electrical biased / qualified (Apprenticeship, NVQ)
17th Edition / 18th edition
A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
Multi-Skilled with willingness to turn your hand to all trades
Good communication skills
