MEP QA Engineer An exciting contract opportunity and opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic MEP QA Engineer to join our client a prestigious and well established tier one construction company in West Dublin. Preferred candidates will be experienced in working in busy contract environments on highly regulated manufacturing projects within the pharmaceutical, semiconductor, brewing, food and beverage industries. M&E contractor experience in roles from construction stage through commissioning to handover preferred This role is an immediate start, and our client is looking to hold interviews and candidate started on site in the coming 2-3 weeks. Duties will include: Auditing trade qualifications, and validating MEP sub-contractor’s site activities. Liaison with sub-contractors to ensure work matches Quality Assurance Plans. Ensure proper maintenance of QA standards and processes. Ensure all materials delivered, installed on site comply to project/ client spec and standards. Walk down of systems and ownership of same to bring to handover Generating punch list and closing out same with client. Reporting regularly with project and senior construction management to ensure optimal Quality Standards maintained and adhered to on site. Experience and Skill Sets Required. * Valuable experience with P&ID’s and isometrics * Mechanical / Electrical Engineering Degree, Mechanical Trades Certification or equivalent Construction Projects experience * 5+ years’ experience gained on similar projects role

Mechanical Construction Supervisor Exciting contract opportunity to join a Tier one construction company in West Dublin. Preferred candidates will be experienced in working in highly regulated manufacturing sectors such as pharmaceutical, semiconductor, brewing, food and beverage industries. M&E contractor experience in roles from construction stage through commissioning to handover preferred Duties will include:- * Overseeing works and supervising progress of MEP subcontractors on installation and fabrication of High Purity Stainless Steel Pipework, Ductwork and associated Process Equipment including gas, oil and steam boilers and all associated pipework and controls. * Monitoring and reporting progress to site and senior project management. * Conducting Site Walk downs and Progress Inspections * Attending Site Construction Coordination Meetings * Ensuring and Maintaining High Quality Workmanship and Adherence to Client Specifications. * Attendance of weekly toolbox talk with piping teams relating to all piping activities. * Oversight supervision of Mechanical, Piping and Rigging Teams during fabrication and installation of pipework, MEP Systems and Equipment. Experience and Skill Sets Required. * Management and supervision of mechanical installations on high urgency construction projects. * Supervision of all installations up to and including commissioning and handover on high purity and hygienic stainless-steel piping systems. * Problem solving, ensure all appropriate safety procedures are implemented during work execution. * Installation fabrication and welding of High Purity Pipework. * Installation of HVAC systems. * Installation and fabrication of mild steel and stainless steel brackets. * Fabrication and welding of mild steel stainless steel and copper pipework. * Industrial installation of hot and cold water systems. * Full M&E system interface knowledge essential, electrical commissioning knowledge an advantage * M&E contractor experience in roles from construction stage through commissioning to handover preferred * Mechanical Engineering/equivalent 3rd Level qualification, senior trades accreditation advantageous * Construction & commissioning experience an advantage * Excellent people management and communication skills required * Excellent fault finding & troubleshooting skills

If you have thave what it takes and have the right experience we want to talk to you JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES * Responsible for quantification and cost management of large scale building services within Electrical / Mechanical / Process / HVAC systems. * Preparation of measures and tender documentation for a variety of Engineering projects. * Preparation of standard documentation using existing company procedures * Work with bidders on tenders communicating key timelines in respect of bid responses and ensure that all contributors have a clear understanding of the scope of their bid. * Ensure effective coordination and management of all tender activity & tender responses * Work with other contract disciplines such as Engineers, Architects and Project Managers. * Tender Analysis and reporting. * Assisting with placing Recommend to Award and Contract. * Preparation and analysis of Monthly Valuations. * Preparation, measurement and analysis of Variations. * Assisting with Negotiations. * Able to evidence skills and capabilities. * Desire to become a professional member of the RICS or other recognised professional commercial management organisation EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: * 5 years’ experience in HVAC, Mechanical / Electrical / Process systems * BSc in Quantity Surveying or construction related subject. * Understanding of scope, drawings, and cost drivers within a construction project. * Strong analytical and logical skills. * Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
