Groundwork Foreman - Northampton Our client are a busy groundwork contractor with a number of new build sites across Northamptonshire ranging in size. Due to the growing project demands, they are looking for an experienced Groundwork Foreman to be based in Northampton for a 6-8 week contract, with further work available should you be a success within this initial contract role. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working on residential projects and have experience running gangs of men up to 10 strong. On a 20 unit residential site, you will be responsible for the day to day running of gangs and ensure the site is completed on time overseeing 278 works, top soiling, kerbs, edgings and driveways etc. The role is a hands on managerial position so the successful applicant must be happy to be hands on should circumstances dictate. Description: * Allocating duties to site operatives. * Managing health and safety on site including providing inductions. * Overseeing the works on site, reporting into a Contract Manager. * Maintaining daily records of site activities and liaise with the Site Manager to produce information for reports. * Man management.
