A Main contractor have recently been successful in securing a long term Framework with Thames Water and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to join thier team. The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in civil engineering and the water sector and be based within the Thames Valley Region.
Our Contract Managers work are responsible for managing and delivering a wide range of infra and non infra projects across both clean and wastewater disciplines. Schemes are varied in both size and complexity but typically consists civils, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control.
Main Responsibilities include:
* Overall responsibility for ensuring our projects are completed on time, on budget and to the highest standard
* Control all aspects of programmes ensuring systems, policies and procedures are fully adhered to
* Ensure strict compliance with legislation and our internal policies and procedures, particularly relating to Health & Safety, environmental and quality control
* Managing the project lifecycle from end to end: through mobilisation, delivery through to completion and handover
* Managing, planning, reporting, forecasting and implementing mitigation plans as appropriate

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in civil engineering and the water sector and be based within the Thames Valley Region.
Our Contract Managers work are responsible for managing and delivering a wide range of infra and non infra projects across both clean and wastewater disciplines. Schemes are varied in both size and complexity but typically consists civils, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control.
Main Responsibilities include:
* Overall responsibility for ensuring our projects are completed on time, on budget and to the highest standard
* Control all aspects of programmes ensuring systems, policies and procedures are fully adhered to

JOB DESCRIPTION:
CSCS Labourer required for a large nationwide construction company that specialises in residential projects. Our client is looking for experienced and hardworking labourer to join a project based in Reading. The site can be accessed by public transport so own transport is not essential.
This labourer contract will be ongoing, with hours being 7:30 - 4:30, Monday-Friday and the option to work overtime at the weekends.
Daily responsibilities will include:
Cleaning and Clearing site
Moving materials
Assisting with deliveries
General labouring
Assisting with trades on site
Any other works as directed by the site team
Requirements for the role
Asbestos Awareness training certificate
A valid CSCS card
The ability to perform physical manual labour
Own PPE - High vis vest, safety glasses, gloves, dust mask and hard hat can be provided by Daniel Owen

The type of work will vary depending on what snagging work needs doing but can vary anything from replacing skirting / architraves/ re-hanging doors all the way to complete kitchen refits.
As they cover a nationwide spectrum you could be asked to travel up to 70 miles for a project.
This would start off on a temporary basis but providing both parties are liking the work this could go into a permanent position with a fully expensed van and all the other benefits
