We have new opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Partnerships East Midlands, at our Stamford Site. As our Senior Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day control of the site, management and delivery of project works and in the management and delivery of a flagship large scale project that is key to our region and projected growth
The project is located in Stamford and consists of 200 traditionally built units on a mixed tenure basis. 73 of the units will be open market sale with the remaining 127 pre-sold to an existing Client . We are looking for a driven individual from a solid build background to play a key role in the delivery of quality homes, on time and on budget. Situated on brownfield land in Stamford, enabling works is due to commence in the immediate weeks, and a substantial groundworks package is about to be placed as we begin to put together a delivery team to be managed by our Senior Site manager
You will be looking to prove yourself on prestigious, high-quality project located in a sought after area.

Working safely, stopping work if unsafe and speaking up to address any safety concerns
Participate in safety initiatives
Maintain site cleanliness and presentation on site at all times
Responsibility for the successful completion of the overall project and to lead by example in all that they do, managing the day to day delivery of construction project, quality, time, procurement, contractors
Manage sub-contractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress; provide direct instruction and support as necessary such that contractual arrangements are achieved
Follow Vistry site procedures and maintain all daily, weekly, and monthly site paperwork as is required to be audit compliant
Involved with the management of internal/external design team/consultants to meet project deadlines under supervision from a Contract Manager
Produces and regularly reviews short term programmes in line with the overall project programme (including procurement & Design & Build) to ensure completion on time under the supervision of Contract Manager
Ensure that detailed plans are available commensurate with the overall project plan such that material/resources/supply chain can be delivered to meet scheduled deadlines
Appreciate the commercial implications and drivers within the construction process and incorporate these into decision making working closely with the project Surveyor
Liaise with Contract Manager to ensure that they are fully aware of project progress and is notified of all financial, specification and time risks ensuring that all additional work is identified

In this role, you will shadow senior members of staff. You will be responsible for overseeing disability adaptation and commercial projects varying in size and value, ensuring they are completed to a high standard & H&S compliant.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
You will be the Customer's point of contact for all projects under your control; these projects will be monitored & directed by the Contracts Manager & Head of Operations.
Responsible for planning projects, arranging materials with the purchasing department, writing method statements and risk assessments and organising labour.
Raising Work orders for assigned contractors.
Ensuring H&S is maintained on all sites under your control.
Complete site surveys, monitoring visits and working with our SHEQ Manager to ensure all projects are completed to a high standard.
Raising variations on projects as they develop.
Arranging building control for projects.
Managing project budgets.

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Partnerships East Midlands, at our Stilton Site in Peterborough. As our Senior Site Manager, you will have day to day control of the site, management and delivery of project works and in the day to day management and delivery of a larger scale project.
The project is located in Peterborough and consists of 70 traditionally built units for an existing Client on a design and build basis. We are looking for a driven individual from a solid build background to take control from the very beginning to completion. Situated on a former golf course on the edge of the village of Stilton, SI works are ongoing to establish a suitable foundation for the project, along with detailed designs for the site wide superstructures. A full site team is awaiting the leadership from a suitably experienced Senior Site Manager to take this project from the very start to completion.

YOUR ROLE
As Communications Manager you will support the communications strategy to assist the delivery of the programme.
You will:
* Put Safety above all else, recognising our first priority is the safety of our people and those affected by our work.
* Support the delivery of regional communications strategies including media, digital content and partner engagement
* Develop and deliver communications handling plans for specific campaigns and events that capture scheme milestones

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join us to assist and work on our new build programme, currently set to deliver over 500 units per year. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead on projects up the value of £25m and help ensure that CKH values and specifications are portrayed, keeping to internal budgets.
The ideal candidate will need to be degree qualified and have demonstrable post-qualification experience in Quantity Surveying. In addition, the ideal candidate must be proficient in reviewing valuations, issuing payment notices and undertaking both employer's agent and cost reports.
The role will be predominately home-based but frequent travel to our sites will be required which is usually within a 1-hour commute from Peterborough.

Requirements

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join us to assist and work on our new build programme, currently set to deliver over 500 units per year. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to lead on projects up the value of £25m and help ensure that CKH values and specifications are portrayed, keeping to internal budgets.
The ideal candidate will need to be degree qualified and have demonstrable post-qualification experience in Quantity Surveying. In addition, the ideal candidate must be proficient in reviewing valuations, issuing payment notices and undertaking both employer's agent and cost reports.
The role will be predominately home-based but frequent travel to our sites will be required which is usually within a 1-hour commute from Peterborough.
We are looking for someone
To procure consultants and surveys for land-led development projects.
To chair monthly project meetings on schemes up to a value of £25m, taking and preparing minutes, and reporting on progress and programme.
To project manage the pre-planning phase of projects up to a value of £25m including management of consultant fees, chairing project meetings, taking and preparing minutes, and reporting on progress and programme towards the submission of planning applications.
To prepare project risk registers including providing mitigation strategies to ensure that project risk is managed on projects up to a value of £25m.
To prepare feasibility studies, estimates, cost plans and value for money reports for projects up to a value of £25m.
To prepare of pre/post tender documentation and evaluation on projects up to a value of £25m.
To prepare financial appraisals of tenders for schemes and financial forecasts for projects up to a value of £25m.
To review and comment on House-builders’ Development Agreements and providing contract advice to the Development Team.
To prepare of contractual documentation ready for signing and sealing by Directors for projects up to a value of £25m.
To provide the administration of S106 development agreements and building contracts on projects up to a value of £25m.
To chairing monthly site meetings on projects up to a value of £25m, taking and preparing minutes, and reporting on progress and programme.
To process claims and mitigating costs for projects up to a value of £25m.
To manage contract scope including produce Employer’s Agent and Cost Reports on a monthly basis reporting on estimated final project costs, quality of work, construction progress and contractor’s claims.
To preparation of certificates for all interim payments to the contractor for projects up to a value of £25m.
To issue monthly valuations and cost forecasts and production of final accounts for payment by the client for projects up to a value of £25m.
To take handover of properties on behalf of the Client ensuring all certification and documentation has been provided by the Contractor/Developer.
To complete post completion analysis of outcome scheme costs in elemental format and submission of data to the Building Cost Information Service.
To provide mentoring to Apprentice, Graduate, and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
Requirements
BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management or similar (direct route) OR;
MSc in Quantity Surveying and registered for the Assessment of Professional Competence for membership of the Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors (indirect route)
Strong and effective communication skills
Highly skilled in contract negotiation
Self-starter and pro-active approach
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A flexible attitude to be able to respond to the needs of the business
Excellent financial cost control skills and ability to communicate the financial position of contract to stakeholders and clients on a monthly basis
Excellent problem-solving skills
A clear DBS check will be required for this role

We have a new opportunity for a Senior Site Manager to join our team at Vistry Partnerships East Midlands, at our Stilton Site in Peterborough. As our Senior Site Manager, you will have day to day control of the site, management and delivery of project works and in the day to day management and delivery of a larger scale project.
The project is located in Peterborough and consists of 70 traditionally built units for an existing Client on a design and build basis. We are looking for a driven individual from a solid build background to take control from the very beginning to completion. Situated on a former golf course on the edge of the village of Stilton, SI works are ongoing to establish a suitable foundation for the project, along with detailed designs for the site wide superstructures. THE PROJECT

The framework will see us firmly invest in the region over the next six years and beyond, so we are looking for a stakeholder manager to assist us in the ECI phase on several of these schemes moving from detailed design into construction. The projects range from construction of new dual carriageways, roundabouts, junction improvements and interchanges with a series of structures all delivered in collaboration with Highways England
YOUR ROLE
As Communications Manager you will support the communications strategy to assist the delivery of the programme.
You will:
* Put Safety above all else, recognising our first priority is the safety of our people and those affected by our work.
* Support the delivery of regional communications strategies including media, digital content and partner engagement
* Develop and deliver communications handling plans for specific campaigns and events that capture scheme milestones
* Translate technical information into creative copy for customers, whilst adhering to client templates, writing style guidelines and tone of voice
* Manage external suppliers such as mailing houses and designers to produce customer communications, such as brochures and resident letters
* Work collaboratively across organisational boundaries to maximise communication opportunities and solutions, whilst also addressing issues, challenges and mitigating risks across the programme
* Act as internal advisor to subject matter experts, senior managers and partners on handling communication and engagement activities and issues within a programme environment
* Share learning and best practice with communications colleagues.
* Manage complaints and support enquiries from the public, including FOI requests

Purpose
The SHEQ Advisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with SHEQ policies, processes, and procedures throughout their area and to provide a source of advice and governance to stakeholders within the business.
They are responsible for ensuring that my client maintain industry leading best practice in health and safety and for assisting with the maintenance of our external certifications.
You must have experience working on Construction projects.
Skills & Duties Key
Provide support to the Head of SHEQ and operational team with the objective of minimising business health & safety risk and the production and implementation of new policies and procedures.
Supporting the businesses ISO45001, ISO14001 and ISO9001 certification process.
To carrying out Site SHEQ Inspections to ensure compliance with Company policy, best practice and legal requirements.
Attend meetings as required.
Maintaining a work diary on a weekly basis, escalating issues where necessary
Supporting toolbox talk briefing sessions and other training as required and coach management and operational teams.
Complete SHEQ inspections on a weekly basis as per agreed target relevant to business needs and requirements.
Discussing with employees, during the course of Site SHEQ Inspections, any concerns or suggestions they may have relating to health, safety and environment and relaying such information to the Head of Compliance and operational team.
Bringing to the attention of employees any proposed changes in working practises, legislation or equipment provided and discussing with employees the possible effect any such changes may have.
Bringing to the attention of the H&S Manager/ Head of SHE, any failings in site procedures.
Promoting the reporting of accidents, incidents, near misses and hazards
Supporting the operational team in the understanding safety information e.g. Construction Phase Plan (CPP), Site Management Systems documentation (SMS) and of method statement/ risk assessments.
Investigating and reporting on accidents, incidents, damages, dangerous occurrences and significant near misses as required.
Setting a personal example to all employees and subcontractors.
Travel within the UK will be expected and is a significant part of this role
Carrying out other duties as required by the Head of SHEQ.

The Role
There is now the exciting opportunity to join the expanding Commercial Department as an Estimator, being part of the Estimation team delivering cost estimations with a commercial-minded approach.
In return, the pay for the role will be between £28k to £36k (depending on demonstrable past experience), as well a range of benefits including:

* Maintains technical knowledge by attending workshops, forums, reviewing technical publications as well as local networking events.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results, as needed.
* Having a Health and Safety mindset, looking at possible risks associated with the role and reporting any issues promptly to support the ongoing safety of self and others.
Internal/External Relationships:
* Commercial Director (working closely to ensure estimations are aligned with the commercial strategy and direction).
* Business Development Manager (passing leads to the Business Development Manager and following up on progress).
* Operational Managers (confirming capacity for workstreams and revenue based on estimations).
* Suppliers and third-party bodies (to support the collation of accurate estimations).
Key Performance Indicators:
* Achieving targets and KPIs consistently as set by the Commercial Director and Business Development Manager.
* Role-modelling a continuous focus on health and safety in role at all times, raising concerns in the right way to the right people, continually looking at ways to improve the safety of self and others and providing advice if observing others not complying.
