CAD technician - Peterborough I am currently looking for someone with excellent AutoCAD and Revit skills to join a talented and motivated team in Peterborough. I am particularly interested in candidates with an interest in developing skills in 3D modelling and the preparation of visualisations using a variety of software applications. The client is involved in the UK's most exciting development projects, ranging from nationally significant transport infrastructure and renewable energy development to new settlements and urban regeneration. For many of these projects they produce technical drawings and visualisations to accurately represent the proposals. You can expect to enjoy a challenging and varied role and will typically divide your time between creating 3D models, preparing visualisations and assisting with plan production. You will need to take pride in your attention to detail and be able to demonstrate: Excellent 2D AutoCAD skills An interest in preparing visualisations for a range of types of development Good communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with people at all levels and across multiple disciplines A knowledge of and demonstrable abilities using AutoCAD (in 3d), SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max and Photoshop would be desirable but not essential.
